Why Write This Blog?

I have worked with community resources in Los Angeles County for almost 20 years and have developed my own "Angie's List" of social services that are reliable and helpful in times of need.  Most people until faced with a crisis do not know that there is anything available to them let alone know where to start the search.  My plan is to bring awareness to issues that affect seniors and people with disabilities and where family, friends, and professionals can go to find the help they need in times of crisis.
