For Grace, a Los Angeles-based organization, invites you to a uniquely empowering event for women challenged by chronic pain and their caregivers.  The 8th Annual Women in Pain Conference to be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 9am to 4pm at The California Endowment’s Center for Healthy Communities in downtown Los Angeles.

“Transform Pain Into Strength: The Power of the Comeback” – that’s our 2015 theme where we’ll explore resilience and discover the necessary tools needed to turn the challenge of chronic pain into a story of victory and perseverance. Also during this empowering day, women in pain and their caregivers will hear from inspiring role models who will share how they got off the mat to win!

We’re proud to have assembled a distinguished roster of speakers and panelists for this innovative conference— included are Dr. Afton Hassett from the University of Michigan’s Center for Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research, Danea Horn, author of Chronic Resilience along with ultra-inspiring Women In Pain Christina Kish and Maddie Mae Ruud.  

Five CEUs are available for California Registered Nurses in attendance.
